JOB PURPOSE
The main purpose of the Heavy Driver position is to position is to transport technicians, parts and
help technicians to cater all repair and preventive maintenance activities.
Duties and responsibilities

• Transport AMHEC technical team all over Saudi Arabia to cater scheduled repair activities. Inspect vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance on his truck.
• Plan routes and meet scheduled activities.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as per Saudi Arabia traffic rules and company policy.
• Perform repair activities with technician as a helper/ assistant.
• Repair and fix basic problems arise in vehicle if any.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager

HEALTH AND SAFETY

• Complies with established health and safety guidelines and procedures and ensures the
  health, safety and welfare of self and others
• Identifies and reports to management any Health, Safety or Environmental risks and make suggestions to address these risks and co-operate with his/her supervisor instructions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic education.
• Proven work experience as heavy driver minimum 3 years of experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software especially GPS.
• Valid HD driving license.
• Can work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Read, Write & Speak English Language.
• Good driving skills and awareness of all major roads of Saudi Arabia.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Nature of work may require working beyond standard working hours.
  Physical/ Travel requirements
• Travel (100%) within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to AMHEC sites, yards and branches.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.

Salary and benefits package

• Basic salary range from 48000 Kshs – 68000 Kshs
• Accommodation, transport and medical insurance all provided
• Overtime will be included as per Saudi Arabia law
