JOB PURPOSE
The main purpose of the Electrician position is to perform all electrical repairs, inspection and
troubleshooting heavy and light equipment.

Duties and responsibilities

• Troubleshoot heavy and light equipment electric system, controllers, sensors. Service, repair, and overhaul/replace all electric components e.g., starter motors, alternator, monitors, displays and camera systems on allocated equipments
• Preform inspections on equipment allocated for repairs to ensure complete and progressive preventative maintenance and safety standards of equipment.
• Manage all on site repairs and maintenance, when and where required.
• Travels to clients locations and perform required maintenance activities.
• Install and repair wiring systems.
• Diagnose electrical & electronic issues and proposing a course of action.
• Repair and replace faulty wiring or electrical components.
• Preform inspections on equipment allocated for repairs to ensure complete and progressive preventative maintenance and safety standards of equipment.
• Perform & or assist in preventative maintenance on mobile cranes and aerial work platforms.
• Adhere to an inspection procedure checklist.
• Ensure the cleanliness of cranes workshop and work area.
• Adhere to safe work procedures and complete risk assessments before commencing any work.
• Identify parts for replacement and equipment for repairs.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs for heavy equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of serviced equipment.
• Report to direct manager regarding status of allocated work.
• Keep direct manager informed whenever found any issue with the equipment.
• Completing job reports and processing paperwork.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager.

HEATH AND SAFETY

• Complies with established health and safety guidelines and procedures and ensures the health,
  safety and welfare of self and others
• Identifies and reports to management any Health, Safety or Environmental risks and makes suggestions to address these risks and co-operate with his/her supervisor's instructions.
• High school technical diploma or equivalent.
• Experienced on Lifting Equipment e.g., mobile/crawler/rough terrain cranes, aerial work platforms,
  wheel loaders, forklifts and backhoe

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma with technical diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical experiece on lifting Equipments such as Mobile crawler/rough terraine cranes, aerial work platforms, wheel loaders, forklift and backhoe.
• Familiar with Tadano, Liebherr, RTC & ATC cranes brands, Doosan & Cat wheel loaders, Actros trucks Doosan forklift, Cummins/Perkins generators and tower lights, JCB backhoe loaders, Genie man lifts
• Qualified experience at the same field (5 years at least).
• Maximum age upto 45 yrs.
• Electric Diagrams, CAN Bus, Electric/ Electronic component overhauling.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Hand & Power Tool skills.
• Read, Write & Speak English Language. Driving license.

WORKING CONDITIONS

•  Nature of work may require working beyond standard working hours.
• Travel (up to “On Request”) within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to AMHEC’s sites, yards and branches.

Salary package and benefits

• Basic salary ranges from 1,764 Sar (63200 kshs) – 2,126 (76200 Kshs)
• Accommodation, transport (from work to site) and medical insurance is provided.
• Conract 2 yrs
• Working days – 6 days. 8 hours per day.
• Overtime as per KSA law.
