PAINTER / panel beater Full Time

JOB PURPOSE

The main purpose of the Painter position is to perform all painting activities for heavy equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and paint vehicles and obtain a finish that meets factory standards.
• Preparation and finishing of vehicle paint work.
• Diagnosis of paint defects.
• Color matching.
• Knowledge of the tool & materials, equipment and techniques of the trade.
• Ability to mix and blend paints.
• Skill in the use of tools, materials and equipment of the trade, including the use of a spray gun, laying out and making of stencils, processing of signs using silk screen method, lettering, work with gold leaf, and striping on automotive equipment.
• Conversant with different painting methods.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

• Complies with established health and safety guidelines and procedures and ensures the health, safety and welfare of self and others
• Identifies and reports to management any Health, Safety or Environmental risks and makes suggestions to address these risks and co-operate with his/her supervisor & instructions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree.
• 7 years experience as a painter.
• Read, Write & Speak English Language.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Nature of work may require working beyond standard working hours.

PHYSICAL/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• Travel (up On Request) within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to AMHEC sites, yards and branches.

Salary package and benefits

• Basic salary ranges from 1,599 Sar (58000 kshs) – 1,871 (68,423 Kshs)
• Accommodation, transport (from work to site) and medical insurance is provided.
• Contract 2 yrs
• Working days – 6 days. 8 hours per day.
• Overtime as per KSA law.
