Refrigeration Technician Full Time

CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB (Why this role exists & what is the overall aim of this role)

To implement effective cold chain system in his assigned area by carrying out timely repair and preventive and breakdown maintenance of shop fridge ( In the market and depot premises) and assisting depot cold store maintenance.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (AOR) 
1. Attend and complete fridge breakdowns within 48 hours of reporting
2. Test and fault find refrigeration cabinet and refrigeration chassis in the market place.
3. Carry out repairs and components replacement on refrigerated cabinets within 24 hours and completed by 48 hours.
4. Prepare new refrigerated shop cabinet for installation in the market place. Test and fault find room conditioning units in the depots and villas.
5. Carry out repair and component replacement in room air conditioning units in quickest possible time.
6. Plan and execute preventive maintenance services as per the SOP & check list.
7. Investigation of major components fridge failures and report to Refrigeration Supervisor and RRM.
8. Report back difference shop cabinets break down rates and components reliability to Refrigeration Supervisor and RRM.

Selection Criteria

1. High School Certificate
2. 2 years refrigeration and air conditioning Certificate from a recognized institute.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Refrigeration or Air conditioning Technician with specialization in open chillers
4. 25–35 years of age.
5. Valid driving license.
6. Valid Kenyan passport.

Salary package

1. Total salary 69000 Kshs
2. Accommodation, transport, medical insurance, tickets and visas all provided
3. Overtime will also be provided according to company policy
4. 2 year contract auto – renewable
