TIRE FITTER Full Time

JOB PURPOSE

The main purpose of the Tire Fitter position is to perform all tires repairs and installations for heavy equipment, trucks and light vehicles.

Duties and responsibilities

• Repair, replace and fit heavy equipment, trucks and light vehicle tires.
• Perform tire diagnostics (e.g., checking tire condition, pressure and tread depth)
• Perform/assist preventative maintenance on heavy and light vehicles.
• Adhere to an inspection procedure checklist.
• Ensure the cleanliness of tire workshop and work area.
• Adhere to Safe work procedures and complete risk assessments before commencing any work.
• Daily reporting to workshop engineer regarding status of allocated work.
• Completing job reports and processing paperwork.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

• Complies with established health and safety guidelines and procedures and ensures the health, safety and welfare of self and others
• Identifies and reports to management any Health, Safety or Environmental risks and makes suggestions to address these risks and co-operate with his/her supervisor & instructions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualified experience as a tire fitter (At least 5 years).
• Heavy equipment experience is an advantage.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Hand Power Tool skills.
• Read, Write & Speak English Language.

Working conditions

• Nature of work may require working beyond standard working hours.

PHYSICAL/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel (up On Request) within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to AMHEC sites, yards and branches.

Salary package and benefits

• Basic salary ranges from 997 Sar (36000 kshs) – 1,407 Sar (51,494 Kshs)
• Accommodation, transport (from work to site) and medical insurance is provided.
• Contract 2 yrs
• Working days – 6 days. 8 hours per day.
• Overtime as per KSA law.
