Job description

Duties and responsibilities

• He will do the action items in our yard/ portable cabins and also at the Rig site.
• Use of electric arc and flame.
• Wear occupational equipment such as thick gloves and a long-sleeved protective coat to avoid exposure to heat and flame.
• Taking precautions and preserving eye safety from lighting or ultraviolet radiation resulting from welding, which may lead to eye and retina injury.
• Wear a welding helmet with a face covering.
• Take the necessary measures to prevent dangerous gases to which welders are exposed.
• Determine the appropriate welding method according to the work requirements.
• Carry out welding work as per clients requirements and specifications.
• Use and operate appropriate equipment to combine tools, metal and mechanical parts.
• Weld components using hand-held welding equipment and specialized tools such as rulers and clamp cutters.
• Repair of machines and machines by welding.
• Examine and inspect welded surfaces, structures and parts for defects.
• Using welding equipment and tools in ways that do not affect safety.

Qualification

• Minimum of High School certificate
• Certificate or diploma is an advantage
• 5 Years Minimum Experience.
• Able to speak English.
• Well known 4G/6G Welding.

Salary

• Basic salary ranges from 1,764 Sar (64000 kshs) – 2,488 Sar (91,421 Kshs)
• Accommodation, transport (from work to site) and medical insurance is provided.
• Contract 2 yrs
• Working days – 6 days. 8 hours per day.
• Overtime as per KSA law.
